Our squeegees are made with Alder Hardwood. There is a smooth
finish on the outside, closed cells on the inside. Put the power in the
print stroke with our hardwood squeegees.
Right away you will notice that there
are no bolts which tend to collect more ink so there is less clean up.
The blade is glued in place, giving a smooth finish on the outside. On
the inside, Alder is known for its tight, closed cell construction. That
means less absorption of water, solvents and inks. It also means you
can use a pressure washer on them without the wood splintering, unlike
the squeegee handles made from poplar wood.
