All Radian flatbeds utilize IPG Photonics’ pulsed fiber optic laser modules that represent the current state-of-the-art in high performance industrial laser technologies. The Radian/IPG design, called RAIL (Redundant Array of Independent Lasers) incorporates multiple modules of lower powered lasers and is designed in such a way that the failure of a module (which is field-replaceable) will not cause any downtime.
